Welcome to The British Silver Shaded & Colourpoint Cattery Ars Britannica * PL.
Our home cattery was founded due to love to British Shorthair Cats.
You can find silver shaded, chinchilla, silver shaded point, golden shaded, cream and colourpoint cats and kittens in our cattery.

Ars Britannica*PL cats come from the best bloodlines from Holland, Austria, Germany, Scotland, Estonia and Russia. We brought for our cattery, was chosen personally, with the special care of not only an outstanding pedigree and genetic purity, but also a great pro-human character.
Our cats are part of our family. They live at home and participate in everyday life. They are very social and friendly - these features provide a healthy beautiful offspring. Our kittens get both to loving homes, as well as the good catteries around the world.
Ars Britannica*PL is one of the first pioneering catteries that introduce new colour varieties of silver shaded, chinchilla and silver shaded point in Poland.
Black silver shaded cats [bri ns 11] have black cushions feet and rims of eyes. They stun with their marvelous white fur smoothly shaded with black coloration, green eyes and a captivating character. These are real pet friends - loving their owners, responding well to small children and house guests.
Tipped cats have always something to communicate. We noticed that when our first silver shaded kitten IC Ellada Anirette came to us from Estonia.
Lilly was always eager to talk about her needs, complained when there was something she did not like, or request to play, eat, sleep, hug. She was a real coquette with a strong character in a small compact body and evethought she is not anymore with us, she left a great unconditional love to silver shaded cats in our hearts.
Silver shaded cats love to be close to their owners and almost always look for our caressing and intimacy. Despite that they are not absorbing and do not require constant attention and care.
After several months of searching, all our unique silver cats have arrived home. IC I Love You Viva Vogue*RU – an amazing emerald eyes colourpoint carrier boy came to us from Saratov in Russia. Lover is a huge white bear with a calm nature. Although the breeding male, Lover keens on cuddling and spends most of the time with us in our daily activities.
In January 2011 we brought home GIC Templegates Casanova *UK and IC Torridonian Elora Danan * UK from Scotland. Elora Danan [Cleo] is a small chinchilla treasure in the cat's skin and the emotional mother of all our kittens. Casanova and Cleo are the cats with unique character and beauty, and therefore we are very pleased to have them home.
We welcomed a beautiful princess Jadwiga's Silver Solitaire from Netherlands, then joyfull lovely Prudy - Chubbemup Aurora Elenin and snow white delicate Templagates Lady Valentine in the following years. Now we plan to expand our silver shaded line with Ars Britannica's offspring.
There are also black silver shaded point cats with blue eyes born in our cattery. The cornflower eyes seal silver shaded point 
Sweety Schoenweg is the precursor of this variety in Ars Britannica. Sweety gives a wonderful green and blue-eyed offspring with lovelycharacters.
Silver shaded point coloration [ ns 11 33] has not yet been accepted by FIFE, yet the cats have full rights for reproduction and participation in exhibitions [but without getting titles]. Silver shaded points amaze with their deep blue eyes, soft fur and black paws.
There is one more lovely colourpoint lady in the house - J'adore Jasmine Mazuria* PL. Jasmine is a lilac point treasure girl. She has the most wonderful British character. She loves to cuddle but is also a carring mom to their kittens.
A cream girl Mimi is the youngest female in our cattery. Miminka is a pure treasure, she can lie on your knees and purr wonderfully forever. She may become the foundation of our new coloration line in the future but for now she is just a lovely furball which brings us lot of joy.
Our cats are wonderful caring mothers. They raise and feed their offspring together, making our little silver, golden and ball colourpoint kittens grow into beautiful cats with wonderful, chaarming characters. While the males are large white feather bears who love sweet doing nothing, dating with girls and get a lot of cuddling.

ADVENTAGES OF OUR CATTERY
HEALTH
Kittens and cats are under the professional veterinary care of Ochota Veterinary Center supervised by veterinary doctor Mr. Piotr Jurka. Our vet is also Mrs. Małgorzata Piekut.
All cats in our cattery have their blood type tested in order to avoid serological conflicts in kittens.
Our cattery is free of PKD - all breeding cats have been genetically tested by Animal DNA Laboratory in Melbourne for the presence of PKD - Polycystic Kidney Disease) and do not carry genetic kidney disease.
Our cats are regularly dewormed and vaccinated. All breeding cats are undergoing the routine of veterinary check while vaccination of new born litters.
All our breeding cats are regularly tested for FIV [feline immunodeficiency virus] and FELV [feline leukemia] and all are negative.
All our breeding cats leave the cattery micro chipped and registered with SAFE – ANIMAL system.
SOCILIZATION
We are breeding home, cats and kittens live with us and therefore are very social and easily adapt to their new homes.
Our kittens receive a pedigree, health book, rich layettes, film and book start, photographic documentation of their growth during their stay in our kennel. At each stage of their development we provide you with advice and are happy to visit our charges.
DEVELOPMENT
The parents of our kittens come from outstanding European bloodlines in Scotland, Russia, Germany, Netherlands, Estonia, Austria and Switzerland.
They were selected not only because of their exceptional beauty and compatibility with standard breed, but also due to great personalities, good health and long-range genetic relatedness, so that our kittens were born beautiful and free from diseases arising as a result of too close inbreeding.
Our cats take regular part in exhibitions and are subject to FIFE judges verification. This allows us to breed kittens according to the race description standard.
Our cattery is working with several European and Polish catteries. Together we are working on the silver shaded colour in British Shortair, exchange experiences and breed beautiful kittens with wonderful characters.
PASSION
Breeding cats is our passion and challenge. We commit a part of our life to cats. We are working on creating a wonderful feline psyche, stunning look and reliable health. Therefore, the sale of kittens favors people who visit our cattery in person.
